The Sareer pillar, Masjid-e-Nabwi

‎‘Sareer’ means sleeping place. It is reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to make i’tikaaf here, and used to sleep here while in i’tikaaf.

‎A platform of wood used to be put here for him to sleep on.
